No, these are not the same as Polyethylene signs. Polystyrene signs are less than half the thickness of Poly signs are semi-rigid and flexible. We call Polystyrene Signs “Styrene” for short.
Our Styrene signs are a .040 thickness and are excellent for point of sale poster type signs, these fit nicely in a standard retail frame in the 28”x 22” size. We have made this material for counter mats for fast food franchises, where this material is great for helping your business guide customers toward your sale items.
Styrene signs can be used outdoors as they are waterproof, but these are not necessarily a long term product, however you could expect up to one year or more outdoors depending upon local climates.
